If a story is going to be told it ought to be worth telling. This workshop focuses on how to tell a story and keep it alive for an audience using a variety of linguistic and physical techniques.

Participants learn:

  • Language identifying and alternating between language of description and language of action
  • Rhythms using vocal rhythms
  • Characters techniques for clearly representing and distinguishing between the different characters in a story using voice, movement and physical gestures
  • Audience contact developing an intimate raport with the listeners
